Album Review

This 2013 set from Sony pairs the late-'90s expansions of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble's first two albums, Texas Flood and Couldn't Stand the Weather. Around the time this appeared, Texas Flood was given a double-disc Legacy edition containing a full live concert, but this has the classic debut along with worthwhile outtakes and Couldn't Stand the Weather is similarly expanded, so this winds up as something of a bargain: two expanded versions of modern blues classics available on the cheap.
