Classic Country AM 1060 is excited to have the legendary Jimmy Hughes as our morning show host.
Jimmy Hughes is a born and raised Calgarian. Just a few years after graduating from Western Canada High School in 1964, Hughes dropped in for a visit with the Program Director of what would become country powerhouse CFAC. The visit lasted thirty-one years. His voice a staple on Calgary radio for years, Jimmy was also a familiar face as a weatherman on Global Television for two decades.
Now, Jimmy Hughes is thrilled to join the on-air team at Calgary’s original AM signal, Classic Country AM 1060. His show will take listeners on a stroll down memory lane with music and stories from the past and present, along with information and observations from the world around us like only Jimmy can deliver.
